Een hele smerige reclame, eerder anti-reclame en ik geloof dat hij destijds ook vrij snel van het scherm verdween. Gelukkig stond hij nog op een video van me.

Oh my seeing Bobbie playing makes me cry R.I P Bobbie Nelson ❤
Oh my I was listening to him when he was doing these performance s ❤❤❤
This reminds me of 16 Tons.
Grew up with the amazing Nashville Teens version but this live version from J D gave me shivers up my spine it was Sooo Goood ❤
the germans might have brought the accordion with them from the mother country but the mexicans sure have used it to there benefit and have taken an instrument and made it there own for sure.the music of the texas /mexico border towns is some of my favorite .every style is so beautiful to hear from ranchera and other styles of music throughout mexico.
That damned mike stand obscures his fingerboard almost completely! I suppose he's playing it in Em, although it comes out as Fm on my guitar. The trouble with old recordings is that sometimes the pitch isn't spot on.
R. I. P. Mary Klick Robinson Feb 19, 1929 - Oct 5, 2021 Mary was a professional singer and entertainer. She began her music career as one of the Saddle Sweethearts, with Bud Messner, Dorothy Klick, Rose Lee Maphis and Betty Gower. In 1948, she was crowned Miss Hagerstown. While entertaining troops in Korea, with Grandpa and Ramona Jones, she received a Civilian Medal of Valor, for performing in a combat zone. Mary met her future husband Zeb in the early 1950's, when they both performed on the Old Dominion Barn Dance Radio Show, in Richmond, VA. Mary became one of Jimmy Dean and the Texas Wildcats; they performed on a live T.V. show in 1954, called Town and Country Time. Mary and Zeb moved to Falls Church, Va., in 1957 with their daughter Robin. Mary went on to become a recording artist with Columbia Records, and also loved writing music. (from her obituary)
I've been looking for years for one of those harmonica racks.

His voice is the most beautiful. ever.
Love it, its a beat not many drummers copy, cos it's fast...
I mus was always promoting this guy, it never helped.
Always a great show
As a songwriter-performer you need to step out of the crowd and take them into your world, either by making things bigger/smaller, or warmer/colder, or sharper/more mellow ... always creating an element of recognition and surprise. It's also important to stay in character, unless you're making a transformation. Jonathan Richman has made such a transformation, from angry punkrocker, into the awkward-silly entertainer he is today. He stays very well in character. The interviewer and we never really know whether he's serious or taking the p***. But when confronted with his angry punkrock legacy, he dismisses it firmly - almost falling out of character. He doesn't want to be reminded of who he used to be and doesn't want us to remember him that way.
John has been a great artist ! Rip. MV
Wow
Bravo ! Margo is Divine!!!
Impossible to top Kirsty’s version of this. It’s ok, but.......not Kirsty.
I love this song! Billy nailed it with this one. I sing it on almost every gig I play. The guitar break was a bit tough to get down, but I got it. See: ua-cam.com/video/H3YCAoUlCTQ/v-deo.html
look at all the students helping each other -doubt you would see anything similar
This was a great special. The dude singing backup has a great voice also.
I dunno about it El Capaton! The only song that I love is the very funny hillbilly tune " Goin to Hell on a Sled"....I heard it many times on the Doctor Demento show back in the good old days.....
Wow fxxxxxx awesome 👍🙏
Music of the borderlands is something truly unique. Love huasteco, conjunto, norteño, Banda. Irish/German heritage with a love for Mexican culture, music, history. Viva Flaco ❤️
Like mexicans and people from other countries today- In exchange for performing vital labor that feeds us, building cities, innovating industry, my Irish ancestors were given unsavory names, low wages, and poor treatment by mainstream society. They also brought with them a steadfast culture and way of life that has sculpted the US in a similar way that we are seeing today, with immigrants from the southern border. Todos somos hermanos en esta tierra, y se crea más belleza cuando trabajamos juntos!
Great song just wished it was better quality recording .
That's standing out,Bud
Dear cupcake I'm watching the time slip through my fingers I'm where I was first introduced to your music 1965
I ❤ Willie 🍺
Love the foot tapping mic. A great song covered by so many great musicians.
Brilliant. I love this man so much.
Willie doesn't talk a lot on this.
yo dutsch wing meer als käse ! tweedelamfunfu !
Wij draaiden vroeger met de hand LP's achterstevoren. Later heb ik "Een Dijk van een Plaat" opgenomen en achterstevoren als mp4 opgeslagen.
My favorite 😍💗. Willie is so right on about Nashville. 🎙️🎶🎙️🌟
Beautiful song to bad midnight special uses a stupid applause track at the beginning of songs so you miss the very start
Willie one of a kind.
I love Doc Watson's version of this song. It's not fancy, just simple, understated and direct. Of course, when Doc plays finger style guitar, he just uses his thumb and one finger.... kind a' like Merle Travis.
Mahalo for your song !
My great aunt!
